AFSA at the University of Waterloo Implements SmartPhone Application Technology Powered by CGA Ontario and CampusCurrent

Toronto, ON (October 15, 2012) – University of Waterloo’s Accounting and Finance Student Association (AFSA) is proud to provide a unique and innovative mobile application offering students instant access to campus information from their smart phones.

Available on their Android, Apple and BlackBerry device the free mobile application provides accounting and finance students at AFSA with access to current campus information, including events, academic and social dates, directories and important campus news.

The AFSA Mobile App is a result of the strategic sponsorship and alliance with the Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGA Ontario) and the CampusCurrent Mobile Platform.

“AFSA’s CGA Ontario sponsored application gives us the opportunity to reach our students who are always on the go,” says Terrance Kwok, VP Communications at AFSA.

Similar custom mobile applications are also available at seven other post-secondary Ontario schools.
