5 top college apps for an effective student life
June 6, 2012
Here are some of our picks:
- CampusCurrent. Trust us, we know what we’re talking about! It’s 100% compatible with student life, helping you manage information overload and stay on top of important messages, events, to-do lists, campus news and more.
- Wi-Fi Finder. Need we say more? The GPS-based app finds wi-fi networks near you, including pricing, connection and location info.
- MyPocketProf. Group studying goes online. The app helps you share notes instantly, be updated on others’ notes, create virtual quizzes and test your knowledge wherever you are. Studying just got a lot easier!
- Evernote. Take notes on the go in any shape or form: write your notes, take a picture or save an audio file, organize it into separate notebooks and they’ll be processed, indexed and synced with your other electronic devices. It can even index the writing in a pic!
- Bump. Forget business cards or post-its to exchange contact information! Bump your phone into your new acquaintance’s and, voilà, phone number and email address are shared on the spot! (Note: fist bumping is required).
Tip: Partnerships with college apps providers or developers are a great idea to create the ultimate student experience and to build a tighter community across the campus.
